The focus of this workshop is Bushfire Risk, link to Extreme Weather – how to prepare, what resources do we have and what are the possible impacts?

Simular workshops have already been conducted in 8 locations in the South East LLS region eg at Kiama, Cooma and Goulburn area.   The focus for those workshops has been flooding or extreme storm events.   The workshops are facilitated by 2 staff from University of Technology who work with community adaptation to climate change risks. Lunch is provided and numbers are limited please RSVP to Michele from Greater Sydney Local Land Services.
