Fauna Spotlight – The Gully, Katoomba

Wednesday 27 March, 2019 @ 6:30 pm8:00 pm

Join us for an evening walk spotlighting for animals big and small. We hope to see aboreal mammals in the trees, small native ground mammals, sedentary birds and we may even see microbats. Bring your quiet voices and good listening skills.

This is an outdoor event walking mostly on a formed road but may venture onto bush trails, walking over uneven ground and on hilly terrain. You will be on your feet for a few hours. Please be self sufficient with snacks and water, and wear suitable clothing for a variety of weather conditions and as the evening cools. Strong spotlights are provided, please bring a headtorch or hand torch per person.

Bookings Essential –  Location details provided in a confirmation letter a few days before the event. For RSVP and further information contact Alison Steele on asteele@bmcc.nsw.gov.au or        4780 5320.  Preference will be given to volunteers at the Gully and surrounding residents.
