1998 - New Bushcare Groups
In 1998 the Bushcare program welcomed 8 new groups:-
WENTWORTH FALLS LAKE BUSHCARE GROUP
Started in April 1998
This group currently meets every 3rd Saturday each month @ 1:00 – 4:00.

LEURA CASCADES BUSHCARE GROUP
Started in April 1998
This group currently meets every 2nd Friday each month @ 9:30 – 12:30

COX RESERVE BUSHCARE GROUP @ LAPSTONE
Started in October 1998 (formerly Gregory Terrace and then combined with Cox Reserve)
This group currently meets every 1st Saturday each month @ 9:00-12:00

SUTTON PARK BUSHCARE GROUP @ BLACKHEATH
Started in October 1998

VALE STREET BUSHCARE GROUP @ KATOOMBA
Vale Street Bushcare started with Francis Dutton in 1998 before forming a Council group in September 2001
This group currently meets every 4th Saturday each month @ 9:00 – 12:00

KNAPSACK CREEK BUSHCARE GROUP @ LAPSTONE
Started in July 1998 and worked steadily until it closed in 2009 this also included the work on the Knapsack Gully Catchment Management Group from 1996 – 2009
