In this video from the 2017, sharing energy series brought to you by the Bushcare Network, Jenny talks about the benefits of the catchment approach. This approach started to provide  catchment wide planning with starting with the North Katoomba Catchment Group (2007) Leura Catchment Group (2012) Jamison Creek Catchment Group (2012) Fitzgerald Creek Catchment Group (2013). These groups are volunteer run with council support and Jenny mentions how forming the groups within the catchment made you more aware of the groups that are in the area and easier to work with the other groups as the efforts were coordinated.
