A course in Bush Regeneration started in the mountains by a TAFE Outreach Course in 1993.

Certificate courses started which then lead to the course being added to the TAFE in Katoomba.

Stage 1 was run in 1993 by Eric Mahony as an Outreach course in the Bullaburra Progress Hall.  Students included Una King, Alan Oliver, Eileen Beaver, Chris Woods and Lyndal Sullivan from existing bushcare groups.

Then another Stage 1 was run at Katoomba TAFE by Eric in 1994.

Stage 2 ran in 1995 which lead to the attainment of TAFE certificates in Bush Regeneration.  Lyndal, Alan & Chris were part of this group.

Eric Mahony were delivering these courses at this time.
